jewellery from its historic store in Preston, Lancashire. The family and their exceptionally long serving team
pride themselves on their knowledge, skills, service, care, professionalism and attention to detail; this has been
key to building up a wonderfully loyal client base.
In House Expertise
Unusually Whittles has a team of three fully accredited Fellows of The National Association of Goldsmiths and Three Fellows of the
Gemmological Association; together they have a tremendous experience in the trade with a vast knowledge of gems and watches.
There are also two registered member of the Guild of Valuers ensuring that Whittles can give accredited valuations in house
allowing customer’s peace of mind in that their precious and often sentimental items of jewellery will not leave the premises
eliminating the possibility of loss. In addition one member of staff has a Degree in 3D design offering a personalised bespoke design service.
Traditional Craftsmanship
Also ‘in house’ Whittles are delighted to be able to complete their full and professional service to their customers by providing the
skills of Mr Barry Douthwaite, a Horologist; an expert in the repair of watches.
Barry is also most adept when dealing with jewellery
repairs and is the only Rolex approved workshop in the area.
International Ranges
In addition to the watch brands Whittles are also delighted to bring the international jewellery ranges, of Picchiotti Italy and Christian Bauer from Germany.
Being an Independent jeweller they are able to offer something different from the multiples and offer a personalised service which
is second to none.
The Future
Now that Preston has become a city Joanna, William and the staff at Whittles welcome the opportunity to serve not only the present
loyal customers whose families have been shopping with Whittles for generations, but also new customers and friends to the store.
